I don't like that word. If you're biased against race you're racist. If you're biased against sex (gender) you're sexist. If you're biased against age you're ageist. But if you're biased against homosexuals you are homophobic, not homoist. And -phobic means that you are afraid of them. You can't be biased without being afraid?

Semantics aside, am I homophobic? I'll let you deciede: I have some gay acquaintances. I had a lesbian roommate and have had lesbian coworkers. One of my Facebook friends who I trade pro-Obama anti-McCain banter with is bisexual. I don't harass people for being non-straight and I don't tell them (or think) that they are going to hell. I would not refuse to associate with someone solely because of they were not straight but if they were very flamboyant or militant it would almost definitely be a problem. But I do think that everyone who's sexuality is something other than straight has something wrong with them, that they suffer some kind of mental/emotional/sexual deviance that should not exist any more than someone should have 6 toes or a 3rd nipple. But it's just something that I am willing to tolerate.

He further raises the ire of the community by deleting comments.

Then [info]rebirthoxide reposts the original post with the question, Has a fellow vegetarian ever talked to you like this? What did you think? Should fellow vegetarians chastise each other in this manner? Is proofreading a privilege or a right?

I've been a fan since both [info]mostlybent  and  [info]dantehoh introduced me to them last year.
Since then, I have performed 2 numbers with [info]weburlesque  to both "Crack of Doom" and "Beat Me" with more new ideas comming round for future events.
This band sort of reminded me what P.T Grimm would have been like before WWII.
And almost everything they do with another person in mind just amazes me that much more.
They've worked with Alexander Hacke of Einsturzende Neubauten in their musical rendition of H.P Lovecraft's stories.

My little girl has been extra snuggly lately. I thought to put on a fleece over my "work" clothes so I didn't get covered by hair. It occurs to me that she getting older. She still runs about like crazy but most of the time she sleeps curled up on the sofa. I love her. She takes good care of me.

Sleep last night was elusive. Excitement over upcoming plans had my mind whirring. Glad my work shift got canceled this evening. Something tells me I'm going to be tired.

Cool 58 degrees in the house when I woke up. I've been really enjoying to cool weather. Mostly sunny and nice. Even decided on wearing the sassy pants today. They're cords. That's warm right?

And I discovered that my piercing is getting on towards healed too. I was able to lay on my right side and gently rest my head down on my pillow for a little while. Haven't been able to do that since June!

Other than that, the Honey comes home around 5:30 today. I have a conversation to have with someone else. And generally, life is good.

Today is just a downhill of suck and its only 9am.

Last night I came home around 1am, looked around and thought "Hey... where is my car?". I called the police. It was towed because my registration expired. This town apparently means business.

Looking forward to the continuing downward spiral.
